We chose the verb stretch as a metaphor for these regular warm up activities for the Extend mOOC 2021.

What does it mean to you to stretch yourself out? Do you have anything in your daily routine that helps you to be ready for a day in the life of an educator in 2021? What is it?

Aside from a coffee or two or three, One thing that I do to stretch myself out and warm myself up for the day is to have a quick look at my Twitter feed, look for a post from an educator I admire (I use Twitter solely for professional learning so I only follow accounts in that sphere) and try to boost the post by quote retweeting it, tagging in anyone I think would be interested and trying to add some kind of value add comment to it (whether it’s humour or snark or actually something that could be construed as smart), to keep the idea or event or whatever is in the post circulating to my peers.
It takes a minute or two and gets my pedagogical neurons firing.
